BBC Countdown music

I was gonna write about my experience in a radio playwriting competition. But if I type the word “BBC” here, I think I should write this topic first.

When I hear or see the word “BBC”, the first thing comes to my mind is that countdown music.

I don’t get to hear the full 90-second version frequently (usually interrupted by announcements) but this music really excites me. It’s no exaggeration to say that half of the reason I like BBC news is this music.

And I know that I’m not the only one to feel this way.

And then there was a somber version. At that sad time, I was moved by the fact that they prepared this.

I have a strong affinity and admiration for UK electronica, and if I make a playlist on this subject, this music should be the first track…….
