Letter #22: A deer, fresh herb, fresh juice

Monday, March 31 
A deer lives in our nearby woods. I’ve never seen it, but I know it sometimes crosses the road to get to the river. Last night, a car hit this deer. A team of police officers searched for this runaway deer in the dark because they worried it might have gotten a bone fracture.

A coffee tree in my room is not doing well. It’s probably because my room is too cold for this tree. Today, I brought back a herb. I picked up the one from the outside shelf to make sure it survives.

I felt like I was up for a bit of change today. I parked in an area I’d never parked and tried a fresh orange juice vending machine I’d usually ignored. And how nice, both turned out to be good.
