Sunday, June 22
The pigeons are back in the tree. Round two has begun, and I hope they’ll make it through this time.

While I was shopping, I realized I was wearing mismatched socks. I became overly self-conscious for a while, but then I decided to act like I’d meant to wear that way.

One of the Dodgers’ players reminds me of my childhood friend, Uchi, who also used to play baseball. Today, I came across Uchi, so I told him that my mom and I have been calling that player Uchi.

Heavy rain today. Although I ran from the parking lot as fast as I could, I still got soaked through. If time and circumstances allowed, I’d like to try shampooing in this kind of rain.

I couldn’t sleep. I kept wondering if I had said or done something wrong. And once I fall into this loop, it’s always tough to get out. I heard the newspaper delivery bike came around 3am. I got out of the bed at 5am. The pigeons were there.

The price of rice is slowly going down, which is good news. I did a quick grocery run and had a quick sushi lunch. It seems like the rainy season is coming to an end. I should’ve had that grape ice cream with lunch.

I babysat my nephew today. I downloaded “Just Dance” on the Switch, and we danced to SpongeBob. I let him win to motivate him, but it turned out this effort was completely unnecessary. We ended up dancing ten times. I’m done for this weekend.
