I always thought MBTI was just Gen Z talk and kept ignoring it, but I finally took a test. Tell me something I didn’t already know.

At the supermarket cashier, I heard a voice that sounded strangely familiar. I asked her if she used to work at another supermarket that closed a year ago. She was surprised I remembered her. Of course I remember you—you’re one of the kindest staff members in my town.

There’s a girl I admire at the convenience store in my neighborhood. She’s cute, fun, and handles every kind of customer and situation beautifully. A perfect score. When I see her, I sometimes wonder what I’d do if I were a straight man. Would I ask her out? But what if it bothered her? It’d be very inconvenient if I couldn’t use this convenience store anymore… So the answer is always: “I should stick to being a nice customer”. And I’m sure that’s what all these male customers who come in during her shift and line up to chat with her are thinking, too. I sympathize with you deeply. But don’t make any funny moves. She’s mine.

The project I’ve been involved in the longest in my career is coming to an end. Nearly 12 years. Shuffling through some of their documents, I’m quietly realizing what an exciting journey it’s been. Through this project, I’ve learned that when the visual narrative is great, the words naturally follow and flow. And I really like that feeling. It’s always fun to work with a team that has a clear and positive vision.

When I work on a project, I usually choose some music to set the tone for the writing. And the tracks I personally picked for the project mentioned yesterday were:
- Frank Ocean – Nights
- Beyoncé – I’M THAT GIRL
- Sylvester – You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)

My nephew came to visit. I made lunch, went for a drive, made dango for snack time as per his request, played Just Dance, watched hamster videos, made dinner, and played Just Dance again. Then he said he wanted to go home because he doesn’t like it here. I internalized this comment of the three-year-old.
This week’s track
The Pharcyde – She Said (Jay Dee Remix)
